- Live Music Wednesday 8 p.m.-11 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at the Lock and Key, 2718 J St. Come out for a soulful night of live music with performances from Classic Chris, Yardley Griffin Jr., Lucky Witherspoon and the Joe Archie 3-in-1 Band. Hosted by Aaron Jones. Tickets are $20.
- Jakhari Smith 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Harlow’s, the Starlet Room. Jakhari Smith is a talented and versatile artist from Sacramento. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and social issues, his music is a captivating blend of raw emotions and thought-provoking storytelling. His ability to connect with listeners through his authentic and relatable content sets him apart in the competitive world of hip-hop. Tickets are $17.
- TwoPoint4 Dance Theatre presents: ‘HOME’ 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at CLARA Auditorium. Step inside “HOME,” a transformative dance performance where the intimacy of a living room becomes a canvas for exploring deep familial bonds through a fusion of contemporary, modern and vertical dance. - Oak Park Farmers Market 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, April 5-Nov. 1, at McClatchy Park. The Oak Park Farmers Market was formed in 2010 to fill a need in one of Sacramento’s food deserts and in response to a community survey that revealed residents couldn’t easily access fresh, healthy produce. Since its opening, the market has served an average of 1,500 visitors per week. It attracts small farms run by women and people of color, creating the dual benefit of supporting local farmers while feeding a community with a high rate of food insecurity. Free and open to the public.
- Movement ’90s Fest Beer Tasting 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Movement Brewing Company, 11151 Trade Center Drive Suite 104/105, Rancho Cordova. A ticket includes unlimited four-ounce pours from 40-plus breweries during the event and a ’90s Fest logo glass.
