Oak Park was alive with festive cheer on Dec. 14, as St. HOPE Academy hosted its 6th annual Christmas at 40 Acres celebration. 

The event brought together local businesses and families for a day filled with holiday joy, community spirit, and fun activities for all ages.

At Underground Books, families lined up for free photos with Santa, creating lasting memories with the man in red. Children were also treated to face painting, cookie decorating, and cups of hot cocoa as they embraced the season.

The event was more than just a holiday gathering — it was a celebration of the close-knit community that defines the area. Christmas at 40 Acres not only provided festive fun, but also reinforced the importance of supporting local businesses and creating lasting connections in the neighborhood.
