R&B and soul singer and actress Macy Gray will be performing at the Crest Theater on Monday, Jan. 16.
Gray and her band, The California Jet Club, have been touring in support of upcoming album “The Reset,” due for release in February. “So you’ll be able to hear the music before it comes out,” Gray told The OBSERVER during a recent interview.
Gray has been nominated for five Grammy Awards, winning Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her hit “I Try” at the 2001 ceremony. She was a contestant on the Australian version of “The Masked Singer” in 2022.
In addition to her musical career, Gray is an established actress with 30 films to her credit including “Training Day,” “Spider-Man,” “Lackawanna Blues” and the “Dutch” trilogy.
